Overview- Learnership 2025
Triton Academy is now accepting applications for its National Certificate: Freight Handling Learnership 2025, aimed at unemployed South African youth who are eager to gain skills and experience in the logistics sector. This 12-month program combines classroom training with hands-on experience in warehousing and transport environments.
This opportunity is part of Triton Academy’s mission to uplift and empower youth through quality, accredited education and meaningful employment pathways.
Responsibilities- Learnership 2025
Participants in the learnership 2025 will:
- Load and off-load goods safely
- Prepare vehicles for trips
- Handle freight documentation and recordkeeping
- Perform warehouse duties (picking, packing, receiving)
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Engage in structured training and workplace mentorship
- Participate in assessments toward certification
Minimum Requirements- Learnership 2025
To qualify for this learnership 2025, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 23 and 35 years old
- Have Grade 12, TVET N3, or NQF Level 3
- Pass with a minimum of 40% in English and Maths/Math Literacy
- Be unemployed and not studying at the time of application
- Be medically fit and able to work shifts/weekends
- Have a clear criminal record
- Have reliable transport (advantageous)
- Computer literacy and previous warehouse/logistics experience are advantageous
