Requirements: Medical Officer Jobs
Ideal for professionals actively seeking medical officer jobs in the surgical field. Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- A qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner
- Current HPCSA registration (2025/26)
- Surgical Primaries (FCS Primaries)
- Minimum of 2 years post-HPCSA registration experience (advantageous)
Core Responsibilities: Medical Officer Jobs
- Deliver clinical care within the Urology unit
- Provide effective surgical and general medical treatment
- Train and supervise interns and medical students
- Ensure resource efficiency (lab tests, blood products, etc.)
- Comply with relevant hospital policies and clinical protocols
- Participate in registrar duties and postgraduate academic activities
- Complete research towards the FC Urol (SA) exam within 3 years
