Requirements: Medical Officer Jobs

Ideal for professionals actively seeking medical officer jobs in the surgical field. Applicants must have:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• A qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner
• Current HPCSA registration (2025/26)
• Surgical Primaries (FCS Primaries)
• Minimum of 2 years post-HPCSA registration experience (advantageous)

Core Responsibilities: Medical Officer Jobs

• Deliver clinical care within the Urology unit
• Provide effective surgical and general medical treatment
• Train and supervise interns and medical students
• Ensure resource efficiency (lab tests, blood products, etc.)
• Comply with relevant hospital policies and clinical protocols
• Participate in registrar duties and postgraduate academic activities
• Complete research towards the FC Urol (SA) exam within 3 years
